Obama a failure
Dictator President Obama continues his usurpation of political power, undermining the rule of law, including the United States Constitution, and Congress is failing to take their constitutionally given right to impeach him. He must be stopped before his transformation of America does become permanent.
He is exceptionally incompetent and arrogant in his governance of this great nation. His actions are threatening the general welfare of the “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” of every American, making them like more and more his subjects.
The imperial complex and actions which the president seems to exemplify are similar to those that made the creation of America possible, and now this country seems to be on a similar path. It seems nothing short of a political revolution is warranted to re-establish the constitutional republic our Founding Fathers gave the people of America. The liberty and freedom we enjoy is under constant assault from the government and now leftists.
The Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) is an example of compelling dictatorial control which will determine every American’s health care will be policed by the Internal Revenue Service.
Obamacare is a direct frontal assault against American liberty, and the IRS is like the Gestapo of Obama’s wanting legacy, no matter the cost and price to the welfare of Americans, especially to the seniors for which Medicare is soon to be a thing of the past, thanks to the illegal seizing of $716 billion from it … all to fund Obamacare.
Obamacare threatens the survival of the middle class, as well as those it purports to help gain a sense of “distributive health equality of services and accessibility.”
Already, millions of the middle class are feeling the repercussions of Obamacare on individuals’ health insurances, with which many were satisfied in the past. The promises that if you like your insurance plan, you can keep it, as well as keeping your doctor if your satisfied, were outright lies made by the president, and he continues lying to the American people.
Obama does not care how his actions are detrimental to the United States and to America’s national security, as his domestic and foreign policies are utter failures.

Sky not falling
It’s encouraging reading the Tribune-Herald’s “No drugs or guns? You’re still busted” (Dec. 3), calling out one of America’s worst policy failures in history.
Hopefully, the Tribune-Herald has a positive editorial when it’s Hawaii’s turn to re-legalize the God-given plant cannabis (marijuana).
Colorado re-legalized cannabis more than a year ago, and the sky isn’t falling in.
A sane argument to cage responsible adults who choose to use cannabis doesn’t exist.

GMO paranoia
This is an open letter to Mayor Billy Kenoi: It seems a certain segment of our population here on Hawaii Island has been struck by the “Chicken Little Syndrome.”
Chicken Little, having been struck on the head by a little acorn, proceeded to raise mass hysteria among her friends by saying the sky was falling and she saw it with her own eyes.
She led her friends on a wild chase to tell the king, never once thinking to look up at the sky, nor to look down to locate the offending piece of sky.
A simple children’s fable, true enough, but it illustrates the paranoia exhibited by Goosey Loosey, Henny Penny, Cocky Lockey, Ducky Lucky, Drakey Lakey, Turkey Lurkey and Gander Lander types who lack independent thought and are led to a questionable end by Foxy Woxy.
In a “nutshell,” this is why you needed to veto Bill 113.
